After just moving into a new apartment, I was eager to find some low budget decorations to add some creative touches to the space. Pinterest has lots of great ideas, but a lot of them are too complicated for me or cost too much money!
These shelves are SUPER easy and CHEAP!
Follow along to learn how to make some for yourself!
First you will need some craft glue and a pack of jumbo popsicle sticks.
Place the popsicle sticks in a hexagon shape and glue the tips together.
Repeat this task until your first hexagon is three inches wide.
To create the longer shelf, create another hexagon- leaving one side open to build your next hexagon on top of.
Repeat this task until your second pair of hexagons are three inches wide.
Add some cheap wood stain or use cheap chalk paint.
For nail free hanging in an apartment or dorm room, add command strips to the sides and hang it up!
I hope you enjoy making these super cheap, easy, trendy shelves!
