Hey Y’all!!
Today I am sharing part 2 of the quote series that I started. I like how some of you are engaging on the posts. It makes my day to hear how you can relate or if you are encouraged about the quotes!
This quote is from a book written by Claire Lazebnik.
When I was younger, I thought that I had to be a certain way for boys to like me. I thought I had to pretend to like things that I really had no interest in and act a certain way to have them talk to me. Can any of you relate?
I think as we grow older, we maybe stop caring about that so much, but as teenagers, I think we all tended to change parts of ourselves to fit into a guy’s life better. Heck, or even to fit into our friends’ lives better!
In this video, I talk about what this quote means to me and how it has impacted my life.
I hope that you are encouraged in this post and that you’ve found or will find the person who makes you a better version of yourself!

So true! Our way of thinking changes as we grow up because in the end it’s the relationships that matters. So we can say from teenager to older age we start care less about materialistic things. Keep writing and inspiring us! đŸ˜€
